Crab and prosciutto baskets

What do you do when it’s saturday, it’s rainy and it’s nearing 5 o’clock? Riiiight, you start to think about nibbles and apéros… so let’s open the larder and the fridge and let’s see what’s in there. This time I found a can of crab, pizza dough, a little bit of prosciutto. And in the drawer under the oven I still had those minimuffin tins…


  • pizza dough
  • crab
  • crème fraîche
  • mayonnaise
  • prosciutto
  • tabasco
  • salt & pepper
  • iceberg salad


  1. roll out the dough and cut little circles;
  2. put them into the tin;
  3. cook the dough for about 10 min in a preheated oven 200 °;
  4. take the baskets out of the tin and let them cool down briefly;
  5. put a little bit of salad;
  6. in some baskets put a little bit of prosciutto;
  7. in the others the crab mixed with crème fraîche, mayonnaise, tabasco, and season.
