Tartare... twice as nice

First wednesday back on the diet, jeeeeez I’m hungry. And I have to cut on the oil, on the cheese, on the bread… on EVERYTHING. But I wanted something good to eat, something that didn’t taste diety or light…. Saw something similar on tv a while ago, it was only bigger…. not nibble-like. I liked the idea, though and so I tried to recreate it.

Ingredients:

  • carrot
  • cucumber
  • tomato
  • radish
  • spring onion
  • parsley
  • chilli
  • rump of beef
  • lemon juice
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • tomato paste
  • worcestershire sauce
  • tabasco
  • cognac

Method:

  1. chop all the vegetables very finely;
  2. mix them with olive oil and lemon juice and season;
  3. chop the meat very finely;
  4. add the chopped parsley, season and add some lemon juice.
