Lemon thyme bruschetta

Lemon thyme bruschetta

Nouuu, not Indian at all ;-), but what can I say? I like to travel a lot… at least in my kitchen. And this is one of those things you can prepare when the end of the week is coming nearer and it is inversely proportional to the contents of your fridge. Or, if all you have left is a little bit of bread, a tomato, garlic…

  • bread (and since you’re toasting it, it doesn’t need to be fresh)
  • tomato
  • clove of garlic
  • lemon thyme
  • olive oil
  • salt&pepper

  1. slice finely the bread (you wanna make the most out of it) and toast it;
  2. dice the tomato into very small cubes, add the salt and the pepper, the olive oil, the chopped lemon thyme and a crushed clove of garlic;
  3. mix and let it marinate for a short while;
  4. spread on top of the bread.
