Almost classic tartare spoon

What would one say about this little nibble? Is good, it’s quick, don’t have to cook… it’s only chopping and mixing together. The grappa and the harissa give a little twist to this all time favourite of mine. The problem with these nibble just is… I need more spoons! (think I already mention that one in another post… but there were no results… maybe this time), who has ear to hear… 😉


  • beef for tartare
  • pickled cucumber
  • capers
  • flat leave parsley
  • spring onion
  • harissa
  • grappa
  • olive oil
  • lemon juice and zest
  • salt&pepper


  1. have your butcher   prepare the meat for you (or chop it yourself, have it either way);
  2. chop very finely the cucumber, the capers, spring onion, flat leave parsley;
  3. add the lemon juice and the zest, the olive oil, a sprinkle of grappa and some harissa;
  4. season to taste, mix well and serve on some spoons.
