Oriental dip with flatbread strips

Actually I wanted to prepare some guacamole to have with these strips of bread dough cooked in the oven… Well, well… As I opened the avocado *iiiihhhh* and *uuuuhhh* it was all black and brown. No way I could use that. So back to step one… What can I prepare today? And more important, what can I prepare that doesn’t take ages to be ready because it’s already late? I look around in the kitchen and I see this tin of chickpeas. Hmm, can it be? Will it taste nice? It did 🙂

Ingredients:

  • chickpeas
  • coriander
  • chillies (habanero)
  • tomatoes
  • crème fraîche
  • cumin
  • ground coriander
  • caribbean curry mix
  • lemon and lime juice
  • salt
  • olive oil

Method:

  1. cut the tomatoes into little dices and put them in a bowl, add chopped chillies and coriander;
  2. blend the chickpeas with some lemon and lime juice, adding the spices and some crème fraîche;
  3. add the chickpeas mixture to the bowl;
  4. roll out the dough and cut little strips, bake in the oven for less than 10 min at 220 ° C, and serve.
