Pizza fritta

Well… sometimes the pizza (or bread) dough leftovers are so small that they’re almost not worth putting in the deep freezer or to be preserved in anyway, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll have to throw it away. NO WAY. Instead, what you can prepare these little temptations (yeas, they really are addictive). OT, I’m still looking for something that doesn’t taste good once it’s fried.

Ingredients:

  • bread dough
  • mozzarella
  • chilli
  • oil for frying

Method:

  1. you prepare as usual some breaddough (flour, water, yeast, sugar and salt) let it rise and then are ready to use it;
  2. cut mozzarella into small cubes and chop the chilli (BTW, you can put in also other ingredients, such as ham, eg);
  3. take a little nob of dough, say walnut size, flatten it out in the palm of your hand and put in a cube of mozzarella and a little bit of chilli;
  4. close it well up and fry.
