Meatballs with sage and lemon zest

Actually I sooooo wanted to write this post sitting in my bathing suit on hubby’s tablet… (the laptop doesn’t agree with battery.. yeah, I know, it’s too sad). So, after having desperately tried to post this during the afternoon, I’m back to it in the evening, with the laptop (safely plugged in) and here it goes….

Ingredients:

  • ground mixed meat (pork and beef)
  • sage
  • lemon zest
  • mustard
  • grated parmesan
  • egg
  • ev. breadcrumbs

Method:

  1. in a bowl mix the ground meat, the chopped sage, mustard:
  2. add the egg and grated cheese, add the lemon zest and check for consistency;
  3. season to taste with salt&pepper and form the meatballs, cook them with some olive oil.
