Salmon roulade

Salmon roulade

A very nice little starter, good as it is, for itself, lovely with a salad. You could make it well in advance using also gelatine (it’ll be more firm), but it goes also without (if you haven’t had the chance to plan ahead).


  • smoked salmon
  • cottage cheese
  • chives
  • salt&pepper


  1. slice the smoked salmon very thinly and put them on a with cleanfilm covered cutting bord, slightly overlapping them;
  2. chop the chives very finely and mix them with some cottage cheese, season with salt&pepper;
  3. spread the cottage cheese on the salmon, roll it and put in the fridge to set for a couple of hours, once set, cut it into slices and serve.
