A very nice little starter, good as it is, for itself, lovely with a salad. You could make it well in advance using also gelatine (it’ll be more firm), but it goes also without (if you haven’t had the chance to plan ahead).
- smoked salmon
- cottage cheese
- slice the smoked salmon very thinly and put them on a with cleanfilm covered cutting bord, slightly overlapping them;
- chop the chives very finely and mix them with some cottage cheese, season with salt&pepper;
- spread the cottage cheese on the salmon, roll it and put in the fridge to set for a couple of hours, once set, cut it into slices and serve.
