Asian wraps with dipping sauce

Another of the trips I seem to being on is Asian food. And I’d love to try the real deal, but for the moment it’ll stay a dream of mine. A dream I can keep up by serving Asian food, and cultivating my interest for this part of the world. These small wraps are crunchy on the outside and hot on the inside.


  • ground beef
  • chillies
  • coriander
  • lime zest
  • fish sauce
  • soy sauce
  • egg yolk
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • sesame oil
  • vegetable stock


  1. put the ground beef, the chopped chillies, coriander, lime zest, a splash of soy and of fish sauce and the egg yolk in a mixer and blizz to form a paste;
  2. take one won ton wrapper at the time, put some of the mixture in it and wrap to form a triangle (or anything else that will prevent the filling from getting out) and seal the edges with some water as glue;
  3. shallow fry in a pan;
  4. on   the side chop some more chillies, some garlic, coriander and some fresh ginger and put in a small bowl in which you’ve mixed some vegetable stock, soy sauce and sesame oil.
