Scallop on iceberg and orange salad

Scallop on iceberg and orange salad

Hopping quiet happily along my diet trail I tried this recipe, and it’s absolutely gorgeous! Not only because of it’s taste (tastes really lovely), but also because it has so little calories as well. And above that it also was quite filling, leaving a smaller hole in the stomach 😉

  • scallops
  • iceberg salad
  • orange
  • habanero (or any other chilli whit a zing)
  • sesame seeds
  • coriander
  • honey
  • fish sauce
  • rice vinegar
  • sesame oil

  1. wash and cut the salad and put it in a bowl, fillet the orange and squise the juice from the leftover in another small bowl;
  2. cut the orange fillets into smaller pieces and add to the iceberg salad;
  3. chop the coriander and the chilli and add;
  4. brush a grillpan with a teaspoon of sesame oil and grill the scallops;
  5. mix the orange juice with some rice vinegar and some fish sauce and add a teaspoon of honey, mix well;
  6. put the salad on a plate, add the scallops, add the sauce and sprinkle with some sesame seeds on top.
