Yep. I’m aware of the fact that there already are plenty tartare recipes on my blog. But, and I’m outing myself (probably not for the first time either, getting old makes you forget things, is it?) as a meat eater. Nevertheless this one is a little bit different. Instead of the old flat leave parsley I used basil, and the tartare got a fresher, more summery taste. You’ll see, you just have to try it 😉
- prime quality beef
- grainy digion mustard
- lemon zest and juice
- olive oil
- zest the lemon and squeeze it, chop the basil and the chilli and add in a bowl;
- add the meat and the mustard, season and add a little bit of olive oil and mix well and serve.
