Two chocolates, pecan and smacks brownies

I’ve kinda come to like brownies. Seems like they’re versatile and that it’s not too much of a problem if instead of that-much-of-that-ingredient gets substituted by so-and-so-much-of-that-other-one. I started experimenting around and taking away some of the milk chocolate and adding smacks, it came out a blast (it’s already all gone…)


  • 140g dark chocolate
  • 125g milk chocolate
  • 60g pecan nuts
  • about 40g smacks
  • 125g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150g sugar
  • 150g flour
  • 70g cocoa
  • 1,5dl cream


  1. melt the butter and the chocolate in a pot, chop the milk chocolate and the nuts and put them aside;
  2. beat the sugar with the eggs, mix the flour and the cocoa;
  3. add the cream to the eggs and then add the mixed hot chocolate/butter and add also the cocoa/flour mixture;
  4. at the end add the nuts and the milk chocolate;
  5. pour in a buttered form and cook in a preheated oven (200 °C) for about 20 minutes.
