Burehamme and olive wraps

I must admit, they looked better raw… Ok, ok. It was a first attempt at doing a little nibble. The idea isn’t bad, you know, like a savoury millefeuille, with smoked ham, cheese and olives. And it looked good too. I just should have been quicker while stacking the layers. Oh well… next time 😉 They were good nevertheless 😉


  • strudel pastry (or fillo)
  • olives
  • burehamme (smoked ham)
  • grated parmesan
  • crème fraîche
  • olive oil


  1. cut the pastry in to strips and put aside;
  2. chop the olives very small and blend the smoked ham, along with the grated cheese and the crème fraîche;
  3. start layering the millefeuille: first pastry, then olives, than pastry, then the ham mixture;
  4. brush the top layer of pastry with some olive oil and bake for about 10-15 minutes at 200 °C and serve.
