To me this is a perfect summer salad, lukewarm, so you can have it while outside the temperatures are going back from blazing hot to I-can-kinda-manage so that you wouldn’t mind have something that doesn’t come straight out of the fridge. So, get prepped and give it a try!
- salad leaves
- white nectarine
- smoked ham
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar syrup
- wash the nectarine and leave to dry a little bit, cut the nectarine into wedges and cut the halloumi into bitesize pieces;
- cook the cheese in a pan with a little bit of olive oil, once the crust has formed transfer to a piece of kitchen paper to suck up the extra fat;
- put the salad leaves on a plate and arrange the fruit pieces and the cheese and decorate with a slice of smoked ham on top;
- season with salt&pepper, drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar syrup on top and serve.
