Chocolate and chestnut mummiffin

Does it look like Halloween is right up to you? Here a quick little treat that will make all happy. A chocolate and chestnut muffin with a bitter almond frosting. And, of course, somme spooky sugar eyes (they’re essential, of course)…

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 190g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml milk
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 50g chestnut purée
  • baking powder
  • 125g butter
  • 425g icing sugar
  • bitter almond aroma
  • 1-2 tablespoons of milk
  • candy spooky eyes

Method:

  1. prepare the batter for the muffins as usual, adding the chestnut purée to the liquids, bake at 180 °C for 15-20 minutes and leave to cool completely;
  2. prepare the frosting and pipe bandages adding the eyes and covering them partially with some more frosting.
