Steamed WanTan

This one is for those who don’t want to have fried food (for some reason or another). These wantans are steamed over vegetable stock.


  • mixed ground meat (pork and beef)
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • soy sauce
  • hoisin sauce
  • sesame oil


  1. mix the meat with the chopped garlic, ginger, and add a little bit of sesame oil, hoisin sauce and soy sauce;
  2. put a teaspoon of the mixture onto the wan tan dough piece, brush with water on the edges, fold it and press the ends together closing it;
  3. steam over vegetable stock  and serve right away.
