A couple of posts ago I wrote the recipe for sweet roses with puff pastry and apples. Well, now it’s time for a savoury version. I happened to have a little leftover of tomato sauce from the previous day and used it as well. Here we go. And as usual, try it! 🙂 Quick, easy, simple, really!
- puff pastry
- bacon strips
- tomato sauce
- roll out the dough and spread the leftover tomato sauce;
- lay the bacon strips on top, keeping a little distance in between the strips;
- grate some cheddar on top;
- cut the strips of pastry, roll them and bake them for 10-15 minutes at 200°C (preheated).
