Well this new year started with a few bumps, IT or so bumps so to speak. It included the not having access to the media library AND not being able to use my laptop. And, since I cannot blog from my new iPad (or maybe I can?), I was not able to publish anything last week. Sorry. Seems it’s not ok even right now, because I wanted to upload a picture to the recipe and it says “error” gach! Maybe my personal IT will fix this soon, otherwise you’ll start having this post without pictures and then maybe, I sure hope so, it’ll arrive 😉 (and yes, I’m being bitchy about it)


  • hot dog buns
  • hot dogs
  • canned corn
  • canned red beans
  • canned tomatoes
  • onions
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • chillies
  • chilli jam
  • honey
  • barbecue sauce
  • sal&pepper
  • ground beef
  • cumin seeds
  • paprica
  • chilli flakes
  • fresh coriander
  • I hope I didn’t forget anything, I went crazy with the amount of stuff I threw in the pot


  1. chop the onion, garlic, chilli and put them in the pan with some olive oil, then add the meat and brown it;
  2. add the crushed cumin, along with salt&pepper, paprica;
  3. add the canned veggies and some water and simmer;
  4. for HOURS!
  5. shortly before serving add the honey, chilli jam and barbecue sauce, and season;
  6. cook the hotdogs and serve with the chili on the bun.
