Double baked potatoes

‘Tis the wild garlic season again. So why don’t we take advantage of that and prepare some yummy double baked potatoes and add some of that wild garlic in the mix? Happy cookin’


  • potatoes
  • spring onions
  • wild garlic
  • bacon
  • cream cheese
  • crème fraîche
  • milk
  • cheddar
  • salt&pepper


  1. pierce the potatoes with a fork and bake them until they’ve softened;
  2. cut them in half, remove the flesh and add it into a bowl;
  3. add the crème fraîche, cream cheese and a little bit of milk and beat it;
  4. add the chopped spring onion, the wild garlic, some grated cheddar and crumble some of the bacon;
  5. sprinkle an extra cheddar on top and finish with some more spring onion, wild garlic and bacon and put it back into the oven to finish cooking.
