Octopus in teriyaki sauce

Before having sushi at home I wanted to add a little nibble to go along with the wakame salad, let’s go for some octopus in teriyaki sauce!

Ingredients:

  • octopus
  • lemon
  • bay leaves
  • salt
  • teriyaki sauce
  • sesame oil
  • sesame seeds

Method:

  1. bring some water to the boil, add the octopus, bay leaves,salt and some lemon slices, cook for 30-40 minutes;
  2. drain, cut into bitesize pieces and sauté them in a pan with some sesame oil;
  3. add the teriyaki sauce;
  4. just before serving sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds on top.
