Tre trulli inspired trofiette

Last summer, and the summer before, and the one before that as well we went to this restaurant called Tre trulli. It’s absolutely lovely. And one of their dishes is made of pasta in a creamy sauce with cheese (I believe) and shrimps. Yes! Cheese and shrimps! This is an attempt to recreate that dish.


  • trofiette
  • shrimps
  • cream
  • rodez
  • parsley
  • garlic
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. cook the pasta;
  2. in a pot mix the cream with some grated rodez, the garlic and some white wine, bring to simmer and reduce;
  3. add salt&pepper and the chopped parsley;
  4. just before serving add the shrimps;
  5. add the sauce to the drained pasta and serve.
