Ingredients

  • puff pastry
  • cream cheese
  • vanilla sugar
  • vanilla essence
  • icing sugar
  • pear jam
  • oats
  • walnuts
  • egg
  • milk

Instructions

cut the puff pastry into 8 rectangles;

chop the walnuts;

beat the cream cheese, adding some vanilla sugar and vanilla essence;

spread the cream cheese along the centre of the puff pastry;

add the jam on top and a spoon of oats and of walnuts on top of that;

cut strips on both sides of the rectangle and close them up making it look like a braid;

add the eggwash on top and bake for about 10-15 minutes at 220°C;

once cool dust with icing sugar and serve.
