The child-friendly version of this fudge doesn’t include the salt, but you would definitely miss something if you omit this ingredient.
Salted caramel fudgePrint Recipe
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 500 g brown muscovado and brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 125 ml milk
- 395 g sweetened condensed milk
- maldon salt
mix all the ingredients except the salt in a pot and turn on the heat to medium;
once the butter is melted start to stir and continue for 15 minutes, making sure that nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot;
after that turn off the heat and continue to stir for another 10 minutes;
pour the fudge in a greased and lined pan and put in the fridge to set for 2 hours;
cut in pieces and sprinkle with maldon salt.
