Ingredients

  • butter
  • egg
  • milk
  • flour
  • sugar
  • salt
  • yeast
  • water
  • sugar
  • butter
  • cream

Instructions

melt the butter and heat the milk;

add the yeast and a spoonful of sugar and leave 10 min;

in a bowl mix the dry ingredients and add them to the wet, mix well until the dough doesn't stick anymore;

leave to rise for about 1 hour;

form the donuts and fry them;

leave to cool completely;

while the dough is rising prepare the caramel by adding water and sugar in a pot;

when the sugar is melted and still light brown add the butter and take it from the heat;

once the butter has melted add the cream and put back on a medium-low heat for another couple of minutes;

leave to cool as well;

whip some cream and mix in a couple of spoonfuls of caramel and stuff the donuts;

cover the top with some caramel and serve.
