You’re at the point that you’re afraid that the next time you open it, it will have developed a life of its own (read mildew). There is no other solution (of course there are), but to use it all at once and make something that will make EVERYBODY have the jam…

Jam, cashew nuts and white chocolate roll

Serves: a lot Cooking Time: 20 min.


  • 500 g flour
  • 0.75 tbsp salt
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 3 dl milk
  • egg
  • sugar sprinkles
  • white chocolate
  • jam
  • cashew nuts



put the yeast and the sugar in a bowl, add the warm milk and melted butter and let it sit for 10 min.;


add the flour and salt and mix the dough;


let rise for about an hour and roll out;


spread the jam and add the chopped nuts and chocolate, eggwash the top and sprinkle the sugar;


bake in a 200°C preheated oven for about 20 minutes and once cooked leave to cool completely.
