The FIFA world cup is on and we need something to nibble on instead of biting our nails. Nope, not me, not really interested but I’m not the only person living in this household. Maybe I’ll watch a game but for reserach purposes only 😉

Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 3,5dl warm water
  • packet of yeast
  • salt
  • sugar
  • 2 packs shredded mozzarella
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • oregano
  • baking powder
  • butter
  • parsley
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • wienerli

Instructions

prepare the dough by pouring the hot water in the bowl of your mixer and adding sugar and yeast and let it rest for 10 minutes;

add the flour, spices, herbs and baking powder and the shredded mozzarella;

put someplace warm (cold oven, light on, door closed) wiht a lid and let it rise;

make little sausages with the dough and wrap it around the pieces of wienerli (one yealds 4 pieces);

5

put on the baking tray and brush with melted butter, olive oil mixed with chopped parsley and garlic, parmegiano and garlic and onion powder;

6

bake in a ventilated oven at 220° for ca 10 min, checking every now and then if you have to move around the trays (this quantity yealds 3 trays).
